About Sean
Sean is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and former Baltimore City Police Officer. After relocating her family to Rochester, Sean worked at the Wegmans corporate offices for 15 years before deciding to become a professional fitness trainer and open her own gym. Locally, Sean played women’s flat track roller derby in the Roc City Roller Derby league and later sponsored, and coached the Rochester Area Junior Roller Derby league. In recent years, Sean has become an outspoken advocate for social justice, human rights, equality in public education, and police reform. Sean is dedicated to maintaining a safe and welcoming training environment for Rochester’s diverse population.
About the Gym
Baddass Bodies by Sean is located directly off the Genesee Riverway Trail at Flint Street in the PLEX / Plymouth/Exchange Neighborhood, where Downtown, Corn Hill the Southwedge and University of Rochester converge. The facility features a heated 3,500 square foot, hardwood gym floor, and a 1,200 square foot recreation and cardio mezzanine overlooking the main floor. The gym is a kid/family friendly environment and parents are always welcome to bring their children to class or personal training sessions.
The gym has a variety of equipment available to accommodate a wide range of fitness and ability levels from children to seniors and individuals with physical limitations or medical restrictions. All of Sean’s fitness instruction can be modified to personally cater to an individual’s needs.
